Warehouse Supervisor – LAX APM Project 

Express Employment LAX is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support the Automated People Mover (APM) project at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This role is responsible for overseeing safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations, including inventory control, material flow, and supervision of warehouse personnel. The ideal candidate will ensure operational readiness while promoting a strong Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) culture.

Job Description for Warehouse Supervisor: 

• Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials, equipment, tools, and spare parts supporting APM operations. 

• Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) policies and promote a safe working environment. 

• Inventory Control: Maintain physical inventory accuracy, ensure ERP/MRP data integrity, and apply standard counting and control procedures. 

• Logistics & Material Flow: Manage internal and subcontracted material flows, supplier delivery schedules, and repair/return processes to meet operational timelines. 

• Team Supervision: Supervise warehouse staff by planning workloads, setting priorities, providing training, and supporting employee development. 

• Continuous Improvement: Optimize warehousing, packaging, and logistics processes using Lean and QCDE principles and implement continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Reporting & Coordination: Track and report supply chain KPIs, support audits, and interact with customers or stakeholders as required. 

• Fleet & Equipment Oversight: Supervise tooling, equipment calibration, repairs, and site fleet vehicles, including inspections, maintenance, and compliance documentation. 

Requirements for Warehouse Supervisor: 

• Associate Degree and/or relevant warehouse supervision experience required
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse leadership experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics flows
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (MAXIMO preferred)
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Proven leadership, accountability, and team development skills
• Ability to identify risks and proactively resolve issues
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
