Maintenance - Temporary Assignment

Salary: $18 / hour

Job Description: 

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking qualified candidates for a temporary Maintenance position with a Local Housing Company. This position will pay $18 an hour, and hours are Monday – Friday around 8AM-5PM. Hours will vary but would be close to 40 per week to assist for approximately one month.

Responsibilities:

• Complete routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance work
• Respond to and close work orders in a timely manner while ensuring units meet safety, habitability, and housing authority standards
• Inspect, maintain, and prepare vacant units for occupancy, coordinating with property management and following all safety and compliance guidelines
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance are essential

Qualifications:

• Previous Handyman experience is preferred
• Capable of lifting 50lbs.
• Able to utilize hand and power tools, basic plumbing and electrical tools, painting and finishing equipment, ladders and safety equipment, and grounds and cleaning equipment
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
