Our client is a well-established automotive parts supplier in Norfolk County that is expanding its skilled trades team and looking to add a Licensed Tool & Die Maker.

This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing stamping dies to keep production running safely, accurately, and efficiently. If you have experience with transfer or progressive dies and enjoy hands-on problem solving in a clean, safety-focused plant, this is a strong long-term opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain stamping dies in transfer and coil line presses
• Perform preventative maintenance on production tooling, dies, and molds
• Operate milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment to manufacture or repair components
• Assemble components and perform welding as required
• Inspect finished tooling to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and die drawings
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve tooling issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
• Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Tool & Die Maker
• Strong experience with transfer and/or progressive dies
• Solid machining background (manual machining, hand tools, tooling adjustments)
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled trades team
• Excellent troubleshooting and attention to detail
• Automotive stamping experience is a strong asset

Shifts

2 or 3 Weekly rotating shifts:

• 3-shift rotation:
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 2-shift rotation:
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
