Accounts Payable Specialist

Located in Ridgefield, WA

Salary: $23-27 DOE

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist will have the responsibility for processing and managing the invoicing function from start to finish in accordance with company policies and practices.

 

Duties Include:

• Process accounts payable by properly assigning expense accounts to invoices, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring timely payment to vendors.
• Ensure that invoices are properly matched to related agreements.
• Match vendor trade payable invoices to corresponding purchase order 
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices
• Prepare and process weekly check runs
• Scan weekly check run backup into MaxRecall
• File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records and reports
• Performs other duties as assigned

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or 1 or more years of equivalent work experience with accounts payable and general bookkeeping
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to approach challenges in a solutions-oriented manner.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Windows, Word, Excel.
• Strong ability to pay attention to detail with accuracy in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong leadership/management skills coupled with the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities both within and outside of the organization.

 

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in SX.Enterprise software and MaxRecall
