We are seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join a Women & Children’s Hospital to assist pharmacist in prescription management and communication between physicians and patients.

Job Summary

Pay: Up to $31.50/hr

Location: Honolulu, HI

12 hour shifts

Duties:

• Provide pharmacy support services in acute care, clinic, or commercial pharmacy settings.

• Communicate with doctors’ offices, hospitals, patients, and insurance companies.

• Disburse prescriptions to patients.

• Maintain patient chart and/or electronic medical record and pharmacy records.

• Answer questions and provide customer service, as needed.

• Assist pharmacist in the maintenance of medication inventory and ordering.

• Work with patients/customers who may be disoriented, hostile, or confused

Requirements:

·       Current applicable license/certification as a Pharmacy Technician

• Graduate of a formal accredited Pharmacy Technician program
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent acute Pharmacy Technician experience (within the last 24 months)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Current Two-Step TB/Chest X-Ray Clearance (within 1 year)
• N95 Fit Test
• Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU
