Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
• Operate the cash register: process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Answer customer questions and direct them to the right products or departments.
• Restock shelves and maintain organized, well-labeled displays.
• Assist in inventory control and product counts.
• Keep checkout areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked with bags, forms, and supplies.
• Support hardware sales floor operations — cutting keys, mixing paint, or assisting in small tool selection.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers across departments (yard, rental, power center, design, etc.).
• Follow safety and loss-prevention policies.
