Warehouse Manager

$75,000 Annually 

11:00 am – 7:30 pm / Monday-Friday

 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead our automotive logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse team, ensuring trucks and tractor trailers are loaded and unloaded safely, efficiently, and without damage. Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the warehouse team to ensure all trucks and trailers are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently
• Review shipment destinations and ensure furniture/freight is properly wrapped, secured, and protected from damage
• Ensure 100% of trailers are loaded correctly for safe transport of freight
• Monitor and evaluate the loading and unloading process, maintaining high standards for safety and efficiency
• Ensure all loads are scanned and barcoded accurately
• Communicate with the Operations Manager and Dispatch Department regarding workflow, issues, and updates
• Make quick, informed decisions based on volume and staffing levels, and communicate scheduling adjustments to the team
• Inspect tools, equipment, and working conditions to maintain a safe warehouse environment
• Assist in locating items and managing warehouse organization
• Work assigned shifts and remain flexible according to customer pickup and delivery schedules

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management preferred
• Experience with moving companies or furniture handling is a plus but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
