Senior Accountant – Full Time | Springfield, IL

The Senior Accountant will report to the Director of Finance and oversee core accounting functions.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $62,000 per year

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, full time

• Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (flexibility available)

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare financial reports and support audits

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

• Collaborate with internal departments on financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
