3:00 pm – 11:30 pm / Monday-Friday

 

A leading aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Machine Operator – Swage Structural to join the team. In this role, you will operate and assist with the setup of swaging machines and related equipment used in the production of high-precision structural components. You’ll be cross-trained across multiple operations and play a key role in maintaining quality and production flow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong mechanical aptitude, and is looking to grow their skills while confidently performing setups, running machines, and inspecting finished parts with minimal assistance. Machine Operator - Swage Struct. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate swaging machines and related equipment for structural components
• Use blueprints and work instructions to determine job specifications, tolerances, and setup details
• Complete pre-operation checks and ensure machines are ready for production
• Load materials, secure fixtures and tools, and run parts through processes safely and efficiently
• Monitor output for accuracy and adjust machine settings as needed
• Inspect and measure completed parts using basic gauges and tools
• Trim tubing, assemble components, and package parts for inspection or shipment
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety and 5S procedures
• Accurately track time and work progress in company systems
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement

Machine Operator - Swage Struct Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of experience operating industrial machinery
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to work hands-on with equipment
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions
• Proficient in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Basic computer skills for entering production data
• Forklift and crane certification is a plus but not required
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team player
