Position - Blow Mold Machinist

Shift - 2nd shift 3:30 pm to 12am with OT during busy time and mandatory OT

Pay - $17.00 - $19

 

Run blow molding machinery while making appropriate machinery adjustments as needed to ensure final product is within quality specifications. Ensure correct amount of finished product in made.

• Add dye to manufacturing process as needed.
• Monitor product quality including bottle weights and neck finishes via visual inspection and quality measurements.
• Package final product. (Gas line bottles)
• Ensure safety standards and expectations are met at all times.
• Clean machine and surrounding areas.
• Complies with all company policies & procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance etc.· Assist other operators as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Knowledge of blow molding machinery.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability to run machinery and make adjustments as needed.
• Ability to successfully run one or more machines simultaneously.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Basic ability to complete written documentation of product made and quality measurements.
• Effective teamwork skills.
• Ability to problem solve machinery problems and escalate issues when needed.
• Ability to visually inspect product as well as complete quality measurements.
• Ability to work safely and maintain safety expectations.
