Stick Picker/Clean-Up

Salary: $22.15

As a Conveyor Belt Sorter, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our conveyor belt system where you will sort the product and ensure only the best quality pieces are passing through the production line. In this role, you will also be trained in operating a skid steer (bobcat) to load the product on the conveyor. This is an evaluation to hire opportunity! 

Duties:

• Monitoring the conveyor belt system to ensure smooth operation.
• Identifying and removing non-essential materials such as light wood, rocks, and metal from the conveyor belt.
• Ensuring the proper materials are passing through the conveyor belt.
• Working in two-hour shifts, followed by a break, and transitioning to new tasks as required.
• Operating the skid steer loader to feed debris onto the conveyor belt for sorting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience working with conveyor belt systems is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate a skid steer loader safely and efficiently will train.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify materials that do not belong in the sorting process.
• Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment as well as working in outdoor weather elements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm-11 pm

 

MUST be able to train on the day shift for two weeks.

 

Pay: $22.15/hr.
