Express Employment in Covington, GA is looking for an Optometric Scribe.

 Description: To assist the doctor while in the exam room by inputting medical findings in patient’s chart.

 

Job Requirements:

• 1 plus years of Optometric experience is preferred.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Be detail-oriented and ensure the accuracy of all documentation & records.
• Able to type at least 60 words per minute (wpm)
• Comfortable with being in exam room with doctor & patients.
• Respect & follow all HIPAA laws by working confidentially and keeping patient’s information private.
• Be personable and have a good bedside manner to communicate & interact with patients effectively.
• Available during business office hours on Monday – Friday

Payrate: $16-$18/hr based on experience.
