Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Shipping Assistant to join our client’s team in Carmel, IN. In this role you will help ensure that products are picked, packaged, and shipped carefully and accurately to clients.

 

Responsibilities for the Shipping Assistant:

• Pick, pack, and ship products in adherence to established procedures and timelines using a RF Scanner and ERP system.
• Maintain a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all shipping tasks.
• Navigate the warehouse with ease, involving the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for 8-hour shifts, and perform various manual handling tasks such as bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications for the Shipping Assistant:

• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy in shipping processes.
• Physical capability to move within the warehouse environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical tasks associated with material handling.
• RF Scanner experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Dependability and consistent attendance.
