Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 per year

Our client is an automotive supplier in the Simcoe area and is seeking a hands-on Group Leader to support their Production department. This role is ideal for a strong floor leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and knows how to keep production, safety, and people moving in the right direction.

 

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support production teams during assigned shifts
• Review production schedules and ensure output and delivery targets are met
• Assign staff based on skills and production needs
• Troubleshoot production, maintenance, and workflow issues to minimize downtime
• Ensure safety, quality, 5S, and productivity standards are consistently met
• Coach, train, and develop team members
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong technical and mechanical knowledge
• Comfortable working a rotating three-shift schedule
