We are seeking an Experienced Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic warehouse distribution team. (Direct Hire opportunity offered)

This role is vital in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping, receiving, and materials handling. The ideal candidate will have extensive warehouse experience, including operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where cross-functional skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Schedule: (M-F) 7am - 4pm

Pay Rate: $25/hr

 

Responsibilities

• Perform order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Load and unload shipments utilizing heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing goods against documentation.
• Handle materials with care during movement throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and organization.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Support warehouse supervision by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Participate in warehouse safety training sessions to stay compliant with OSHA regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members on construction or materials handling projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, or related roles.
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks.
• Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse operations.
• Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout the shift.
• Experience in construction or materials handling is a plus.
• Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are advantageous but not required. This position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while prioritizing safety and accuracy.
