Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate hardware components (locks, handles, hinges) for compatibility with aluminum door systems
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to plan fabrication layouts
• Create diagrams and instructions outlining hardware placement
• Assist with assembly and installation of door hardware
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure accuracy and secure installation
• Identify and correct deviations from fabrication plans
• Troubleshoot hardware-related issues while following safety protocols

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to operate saws and shop machinery
• Experience with aluminum fabrication preferred
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools (micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Ability to read technical drawings and use hand tools safely
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials
• Must be able to pass a drug test
