NOW HIRING A CLASS A CDL DELIVERY DRIVER IN PRINCETON NC.  $18/HR.  LOCAL DELIVERY DRIVING. 

MUST HAVE VALID CDL AND CLEAR DRIVING RECORD. 

Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across local, regional, or long-haul routes while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of goods.
• Drive a variety of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks based on assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Load freight onto trucks efficiently and securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety during transit.
• Deliver freight to customers promptly while providing excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Follow route instructions precisely, optimizing delivery schedules for efficiency.
• Assist with load & unload activities when necessary, utilizing equipment like forklifts or manual handling techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight transport.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred.
• Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety procedures related to freight transportation.
• Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts when required.
