Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day payroll and human resources operations and ensure accurate timekeeping, timely payroll processing for our team. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, supporting employees, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

• Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees with a high degree of accuracy.

• Review and validate timecards, timesheet adjustments, and PTO requests.

• Maintain payroll records, deductions, garnishments, benefits premiums, and tax filings.

• Coordinate with managers to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely approvals.

• Prepare payroll summary reports and support finance with month-end reporting.

Human Resources Support

• Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding, including background checks, new-hire paperwork, and benefits enrollment.

• Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

Compliance & Administration

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll requirements.

• Assist with audits, reporting, and company-wide policy updates.

• Prepare and maintain HR and payroll metrics for internal reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll and HR experience, preferably in a service-focused or field-based workforce environment.

• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, labor laws, and HR best practices.

• Experience with HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Kronos, etc.).

• Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
