Salary: $36.99/hr
Experienced in operating and maintaining plant utilities, including boilers, wastewater treatment, cooling towers, compressed air, and nitrogen systems. Skilled in troubleshooting, safety compliance, and routine maintenance. Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
1st Class Steam Operating Engineer License (or ability to obtain)
1–3 years’ experience in boiler operations/maintenance
Strong math, technical reading, and problem-solving skills
Water sampling, chemical testing, and treatment adjustment
Proficient with startup/shutdown of boilers and utility systems
Forklift operation experience beneficial
Core Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain daily boiler operations and plant utilities
Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and LOTO procedures
Troubleshoot issues with boilers, pumps, valves, and controls
Maintain accurate logs and digital records of operations
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize systems
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 50 lbs and work at elevated heights
Stand/climb for extended 12-hour shifts
