Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Design and customize products to meet client specifications.

• Create detailed CAD drawings for approvals and fabrication.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.

• Communicate design proposals clearly with clients to secure approvals.

• Recommend improvements to enhance performance, reduce costs, and streamline production.

• Prepare shipping, installation, and maintenance documentation.

• Identify and implement workflow and process improvements.

• Assist in developing reference materials such as installation guides, manuals, and work instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Mechanical/Architectural Drafting, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in CAD software with strong technical drawing skills.

• Knowledge of design and drafting principles.

• Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changes, and meet deadlines.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

• Understanding of metal fabrication processes.

• Extensive experience with ERP systems and workflows.
