Position: Welder (MIG & TIG) Location: Northbrook, IL Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience Hours: 8-hour shift within operational hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Welder (MIG & TIG) to join our team in Northbrook, IL. This is a hands-on position working on machinery, fabricating and welding components using steel and occasionally stainless steel. This is an evaluation hire with the potential for a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on machinery and metal components.
Work with steel and stainless steel materials.
Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
2–3 years of welding experience required (MIG and TIG).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
