Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking material handlers for a 3PL client in Denton, TX. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the warehouse and distribution environment. This role is responsible for receiving, verifying, organizing, and delivering materials to the appropriate areas while maintaining accuracy, safety, and operational flow.

Schedule: M-F 7:30a-4p

Pay: $19/hr 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Verify the accuracy, quantity, and quality of incoming shipments.

·       Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.

·       Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.

·       Label, sort, and store materials in designated locations to maintain efficient flow and accessibility.

·       Organize warehouse stock, maintain in‑process inventory, and ensure proper rotation of materials.

·       Perform routine inventory counts and assist with audits to maintain accurate stock levels.

·       Pull, stage, and prepare materials for production or outbound shipment according to pick tickets and order requirements.

·       Wrap, pack, and load materials for delivery to internal or external customers.

·       Record and track material movements, including receipts, transfers, shortages, and outgoing shipments.

·       Update warehouse management systems (WMS) as materials are handled to ensure data accuracy.

·       Operate forklifts and material‑handling machinery safely and in compliance with all warehouse safety standards.

·       Conduct pre‑use inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.

·       Maintain clean work areas and enforce safe handling procedures to prevent injuries.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role.
• Ability to operate sit down forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse machinery
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  Basic understanding of logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
