Express Employment is hiring for a Janitorial/Sanitation Worker.

Pay: $16.90/hr
Location: Chico, CA
Work Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (May Varies)

Job Duties:

• Frequently lift/move hoses, equipment, chemical containers throughout every work shift
• Wear employer-specified protective gear, including different layers of gloves, face/eye shields, aprons, boots, etc.
• Exposure to chemical cleaning solution (with protective gear)
• Perform varying tasks while standing, lifting, crouching, etc. during long periods of time
• Perform all tasks safely and in a manner that will not create or oppose a direct threat to the health and or safety of the sanitation worker or any other person
• Maintain employees’ bathrooms clean and in proper condition
• Clean offices
• Assist to clean in office kitchen
• Ability to lead a team of two other housekeepers
• Direct employees to additional cleaning duties as needed
• Request housekeeping supplies
• Maintain and submit housekeeping and sanitation logs
• Help during company events

Qualifications:

• Janitorial experience is a plus but not required
• Must be able to work any day of the week
• Must be able to work in an environment that is wet, very humid and undergoes temperature changes, sometimes from hot to cold
• Working weekends as need 
• Ability to work with team
• Maintain and submit janitorial and sanitation logs/paperwork
• All other duties assigned
