Salary: $15.50/hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for a campus housekeeping team. As a Custodian, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of campus facilities.

 

Starting Pay: $15.50/hour

 

Shift: 

• Varying shifts between 7am-3:30pm and 8am-4:30pm
• Must work 1 weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday, 8am-12:30pm)

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform minor cleaning duties, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Ensure that assigned areas are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Handle and dispose of waste following campus guidelines.
• Lift and move furniture and equipment as needed (heavy lifting)
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues or any hazards discovered during cleaning duties.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications:

• Physical ability to lift heavy items such as furniture, on a daily basis
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Must be available to work 1 weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday, 8am-12:30pm).
