Express Employment Professionals looking for a Maintenance tech for a apartment community. The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the apartments, ensuring that all buildings, facilities, and equipment are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role involves routine maintenance, repairs, and responding promptly to resident service requests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections of apartments and common areas

• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, flooring, and carpentry issues

• Maintain grounds, including light landscaping, trash removal, and snow removal (as needed)

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work

• Communicate professionally with residents and management

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm  Weekends as needed

Qualifications: 

• Valid driver’s license (required)

• Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
