Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Technician

Pay: $17 an hour  

The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician plays a vital role in ensuring vacation rental properties are maintained and presented according to company standards. This position supports operational excellence by coordinating cleans, inspections, vendor communication, and property readiness while assisting with departmental goals and metrics. The QA Technician is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Understand and actively support company and departmental goals.

·       Assist in maintaining and tracking departmental metrics and performance indicators.

·       Perform scheduled deliveries and pick-ups of items and supplies at rental properties.

·       Assist in ensuring properties are presented in accordance with company quality standards.

·       Dispatch work orders by assigning tasks to vendors or maintenance technicians based on the nature of the issue, maintaining clear and detailed communication with all parties involved.

·       Document, track, and follow up on vendor-related issues.

·       Assist with onboarding and offboarding of properties, including property visits, system updates (Breezeway, Track), and miscellaneous spreadsheets.

·       Coordinate all property cleans, including scheduling, reviewing automated schedules, and performing clean inspections as needed.

·       Communicate regularly with vendors such as cleaners, inspectors, laundry services, and other service providers.

·       Manage linen inventory by tracking usage, creating order requests, ensuring timely delivery, and verifying accuracy of received supplies.

·       Complete property cleans and inspections as needed to meet operational demands.

·       Assist in bagging linens for cleaners, including sorting incoming laundry bags and preparing outgoing bags.

·       Work outdoors daily as required, moving laundry carts and coordinating laundry pick-ups and drop-offs.

·       Perform occasional property inspections based on seasonal needs and operational demands.

·       Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

·       High school diploma or equivalent required.

·       Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, property management, or quality assurance preferred.

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·       Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, team members, and management.

·       Comfortable using property management and scheduling software (or ability to learn quickly).

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Physically able to lift, move, and transport laundry carts and supplies; able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

·       Flexible schedule with availability for weekends, holidays, and seasonal demands.

Work Environment:

This role requires frequent movement between properties, outdoor work, and physical activity. The QA Technician must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced vacation rental environment.
