Machine Operator 3rd shift

The Machine Operator ensures the correct operation of machining, automation and washing equipment and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 5 axis, twin spindle CNC machines
• Operate and maintain robots & automation equipment
• Operate and maintain automated washing machine
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms and upset conditions
• Participate in machine cleaning, 5S activities on a daily basis
• Enter production, scrap, downtime and other data into computer systems on daily basis
• Read blueprints, understand dimensions and tolerances, GD&T
• Read, understand and adhere to control plans, procedures and other control documents
• Use dimensional gauging to measure and document part dimensions
• Performs other related duties as assigned. Work with teammates toward common goals.
• Participate in sorting, rework, inspections processes as needed
• Verifies measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers are in proper working order.
• Perform general maintenance tasks on all operation equipment, follow autonomous maintenance calendar
