 Job Summary

This role focuses on preparing organic mixes using a front‑end loader, maintaining proper material flow, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of heavy equipment. You’ll be a key part of production by managing stockpiles, feeding material into shakers, and supporting daily operational needs.

 Skills & Competencies

• Operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as loaders and dozers
• Maintaining safe stockpile slopes to ensure a secure work environment
• Working long hours in dusty, hot conditions while seated in a loader
• Climbing into and out of equipment repeatedly throughout the shift
• Understanding safe practices and procedures in an industrial environment
• Reading English and following instructions clearly and accurately
• Working in all weather conditions including heat, cold, dust, and rain
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays

Major Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare organic mixes using Bill of Materials to ensure correct ingredients and proportions
• Supply production lines with continuous material flow
• Push and shape piles to meet Environmental Health Services criteria
• Perform daily safety and equipment checks before operating the loader
• Receive, verify, and organize load tickets for end‑of‑day inventory processing
• Refuel loader using electric diesel pump while following all safety protocols
• Monitor stockpiles for heat and moisture and turn piles as needed
• Meet quality and quantity production standards
• Perform minor equipment maintenance as required
• Verify material quantities accurately
