Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing client for a Quality Control Manager!! 

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experience

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager who is passionate about quality excellence and continuous improvement. If you bring hands-on experience with UL certifications, electronics manufacturing standards, and leading high-performing teams, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You’ll play a key role in delivering products that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. 

Daily Responsibilities: 

• Oversee detailed quality inspections for PCBs, electronic assemblies, and precision sheet metal components

• Manage and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, work instructions, specifications, and compliance records

• Lead investigations into non-conformances by conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective CAPA solutions

• Track, analyze, and report quality metrics such as yield, defect rates, and customer returns

• Mentor and develop a QA team while fostering a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement

• Champion the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure alignment with ISO 9001, UL, and customer requirements

• Lead UL certification efforts (UL 94, UL 508A, etc.) for components, assemblies, and finished products

• Ensure audit readiness by preparing for and supporting internal, external, ISO, UL, and customer audits

Lets talk Experience!!

• PCB experience (This is a must have) 

• Degree in Quality Management or a related technical field preferred (not required)

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in electronics PCBA manufacturing, including 5+ years in a leadership role

• Experience working with ISO 9001 practices and standards

• Hands-on experience managing UL certifications (UL 94 flammability, UL 508A control panels, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600) and familiarity with RoHS compliance

• Proven experience performing root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills across all levels of the organization

• Experience inspecting precision sheet metal components and assemblies to detailed drawings or files

• Knowledge of DMT / DFR processes and RMA processing

 

Additional certifications / experience a plus!! 

• CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) certification

• ERP and QMS software proficiency

• Experience working in high-reliability electronics environments
