Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery on construction or industrial job sites while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, and graders
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Follow all safety procedures and job site regulations
Assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
Work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating heavy equipment required
Knowledge of construction site safety practices
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
Certifications (Preferred):
Heavy Equipment Operator Certification
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
