📌 Type: Long-Term | Office + Jobsite Visits

We’re hiring a Project Estimator / Engineer to help prepare cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial construction projects (with some high-end residential work). This role is ideal for someone with construction experience who is detail-oriented and enjoys working with plans, numbers, and project teams.

🛠 What You’ll Do

• Review plans, drawings, and specifications

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project take-offs

• Write bid proposals and scope of work documents

• Track bid invitations, proposal logs, and bid schedules

• Create and track change orders for active projects

• Help review contracts, subcontracts, and RFIs

• Request pricing and assist with material purchasing

• Work with owners, architects, GCs, and project managers during bidding

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of construction experience (estimating experience preferred)

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar preferred but not required

• Ability to read construction plans and specifications

• Strong math and attention to detail

• Comfortable working on multiple projects at once

• Good communication and organizational skills

💻 Software Experience (Preferred)

• Microsoft Word & Excel

• Estimating software (Sage/Timberline a plus)

• BlueBeam or Adobe

• AutoCAD or Revit helpful, not required

💼 Work Environment

• Office-based with occasional jobsite visits

• Desk and computer work most of the day

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
