Job Title: Powder Coater/Part time
Pay: $15–$18/hr (varies by experience)

Job Summary:
Responsible for applying powder coating to metal parts/products to create a durable, high-quality finish. You make things look good and last long… kind of like a solid resume.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prep metal surfaces (cleaning, sanding, masking, blasting if needed)

• Apply powder using spray gun and coating equipment

• Cure parts in oven to proper temp and time

• Inspect finished product for thickness, coverage, defects

• Hang/remove parts from racks and maintain workflow

• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and safe

• Follow all PPE and safety protocols (yes, you have to actually wear the gear)

Requirements:

• 1+ year powder coating experience preferred

• Knowledge of metal prep, coating, and curing process

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Good attention to detail

• Team player who shows up and works (revolutionary concept, I know)

Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production setting, fast-paced, lots of standing, moving, and metal parts swinging around like it’s a gymnastics event.
