We are assisting a manufacturing company in Sarasota with the search for an Assembler. This role is responsible for assembling and modifying battery cables according to order specifications while meeting production and quality standards.

Location:
• Sarasota, FL 34240

Schedule:
• Monday – Thursday
• 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay:
• $18.00/hour

Responsibilities:
• Assemble and modify battery cables per work orders and production drawings
• Crimp, bolt, and secure components using hand and power tools
• Operate production machinery and forklifts as needed
• Package finished products and prepare orders for shipment
• Maintain production equipment and a clean, safe work area
• Track order status and report production progress
• Reduce scrap, rework, and product returns
• Cross-train in other fulfillment and production tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of assembly or manufacturing experience
• Experience using hand tools and basic machinery
• Basic math and ability to read work instructions in English
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to safely handle tools and materials in a manufacturing environment
