Shipping Clerk

Salary: $21.80/hr

A global medical device manufacturer located in Deerfield, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join its operations team. This facility manufactures life-saving medical devices, software, and related products used worldwide to diagnose and treat serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.

The Shipping Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring domestic and international shipments are accurately prepared, documented, and delivered in compliance with all applicable regulations.


Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for picking, packaging, preparing shipping documentation, and shipping domestic and international orders. This role also assists with coordinating international shipments from start to finish, including documentation, compliance, and distribution, while ensuring adherence to U.S. Customs, DOT, and GMP regulations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Pick, prepare, package, and ship products and materials including sales orders, service support items, marketing materials, and miscellaneous shipments

• Complete shipping paperwork accurately and efficiently

• Process domestic and international shipments in compliance with regulations

• Assist with coordinating international shipments from inception through delivery

• Prioritize workload based on shipping deadlines and cargo dates

• Perform data entry related to shipping and inventory

• Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements

• Maintain an organized and accurate shipping area

• Perform other duties as assigned within the operations department
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required/preferred)

• 1–3 years of shipping and/or receiving experience

• Strong data entry skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience with shipping manifests and documentation

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
