As a Landfill Ground Cleanup Associate, you are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the landfill property. This position involves manual labor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions to support the operational efficiency and environmental compliance of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and dispose of litter and debris throughout the landfill grounds, including roadways, fences, and public access areas

• Operate hand tools and equipment such as rakes, shovels, and leaf blowers to assist in cleanup efforts

• Monitor for and remove windblown debris on a regular schedule

• Assist with general site maintenance such as fence repairs, gate upkeep, and signage cleaning

• Follow all safety and environmental regulations while on site

• Communicate effectively with equipment operators and supervisors to ensure cleanup needs are addressed promptly

• Support special projects as directed by site management

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and walking over uneven terrain

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, general labor, or environmental services is a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
