Location: Elmer, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Season: February – July (with potential to transition to full-time)
Overtime: Required during peak season

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team for the busy lawn and garden season. This seasonal role plays a critical part in coordinating daily deliveries, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring smooth operations. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy multitasking, and work well as part of a team. This position has the potential to become full-time based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate daily delivery routes for drivers

• Communicate professionally and clearly with customers and drivers via phone

• Accurately enter and update orders, delivery details, and schedules

• Multitask efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Maintain organized records and documentation

• Work closely with team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

• Resolve delivery issues or scheduling changes as they arise

• Provide excellent customer service and support

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong phone communication and customer service skills

• Accurate and efficient typing abilities

• Proven multitasking and organizational skills

• Computer proficiency and ability to learn dispatching software quickly

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work extended hours and overtime during peak season

Work Environment & Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Overtime required during peak demand
