Full-time position
4:00 AM start time until route completion
Overtime opportunities available
The Driver Technician is responsible for the safe collection, transport, and delivery of healthcare waste containers while maintaining DOT compliance and providing professional service at all customer facilities.
Route & Facility Operations
Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure all required supplies are loaded before leaving the base.
Park only at loading docks or facility-approved locations and properly chock wheels.
Notify the assigned EVS contact upon arrival at each facility (or coordinate through dispatch/front desk if needed).
Remove all full waste containers and ensure they are properly sealed and labeled.
Load containers safely onto the truck following DOT requirements.
Deliver replacement containers to the designated storeroom only.
Notify the customer and company office if replacement quantities are insufficient.
Documentation & Compliance
Obtain a manifest signature from an EVS team member with required DOT training after final container counts are confirmed.
Complete all post-trip documentation accurately.
Clean and secure the truck at the end of each route.
Maintain compliance with DOT, safety, and company policies at all times.
Safety & Professional Standards
Never leave waste unattended.
Never leave replacement containers outside the assigned storeroom.
Do not request manifest signatures until final container counts are complete.
Do not use hospital flatbed carts without express permission.
Represent the company professionally at all customer locations.
Starting pay: $20.00/hr
After probation: $22.00/hr
Top pay: $25.00/hr (Non-CDL) | $28.00/hr (CDL)

Class A drivers eligible for waste pulls and additional distance-based pay
