Our client in the Reading area is seeking a reliable Baler Operator to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. As a Baler Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating baling equipment, managing recyclable plastics, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.

Pay: 2nd Shift $16/hour, 3rd Shift $18/hour

Shift: 1st 6am-4pm Monday-Thursday
          2nd shift- M-TH 4pm-2am Fr 2pm-10pm for OT if needed
          3rd Shift Sunday- Thursday 11am-7am

Location: Reading, PA

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate baling machines to compress plastic scrap, film, bottles, and other recyclable materials into compact bales.

• Sort, separate, and prepare materials before baling to ensure proper recycling streams.

• Safely load materials into the baler and secure finished bales with wire or strapping.

• Label, record, and move completed bales to designated storage or shipping areas.

• Inspect baler and surrounding work area daily; perform basic maintenance such as clearing jams and cleaning equipment.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or warehouse environment preferred.

• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow standard operating procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
