Wastewater Technician 

Pay:  $30/hr-$35/hr (based on license level/experience)

Shift: 12 hour swing shifts (am & pm available) 

Seeking a licensed Wastewater Technician to support operations for an industrial wastewater treatment facility.
This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant in accordance with engineering standards and permit requirements.
Treatment processes may include paint sludge, oily waste, and sanitary waste.

What You Will Do:

Perform all daily wastewater operations, including sampling, jar testing, meter calibration, sludge management, chemical inventory, and operation/maintenance of plant equipment and laboratory instruments.

Complete required preventative maintenance and repairs in accordance with the CMMS/MAXIMO system across all WWT buildings (U1, U2, U3).

Ensure full compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements, including discharge reports, compliance monitoring, baseline monitoring, and storm water sampling/management.

Requirements:

Valid Class I, II, III, or IV Wastewater License (required)

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night) on an alternating schedule
