Quality Control Inspector in Torrance, CA

South Bay based manufacturing company has an exciting opening for a Quality Control Inspector!

 

The general responsibility of the job is to assist with ensuring materials, process, and products meet the company standards of quality.

 

This is a contract to hire position with a target hourly pay of $20.00-23.00. Benefits upon being hired by company. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30PM

 

Essential Duties:

• Assist with inspection and testing of materials to ensure product conformity.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding quality and certification issues.
• Prepare proper reports for products that do not meet requirements.
• Perform First Article Inspection on products as required by customer.
• Complete and submit reports for management review/approval.
• Verify customer packet including sales order, worksheets, inspection reports etc., are accurate
• Verify labels, packing slips, and stamps are on cartoons and match sales order
• Investigate, communicate, and resolve customer companies/inquiries
• Communicate with receiving, shipping, office, and production to ensure actions needed are executed.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing company
• MUST be bilingual in Spanish
• MUST be vaccinated
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection
• Some experience in Shipping and receiving a plus
