Hanger/Loader – Paintline
Location: Watseka, IL

Pay: $15.00 – $16.50/hr
Shift: Full-time, 10-hour shifts Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed

 

Job Overview:
We are looking for a dependable Hanger/Loader to join our paintline team! In this role, you will hang parts and components onto the moving conveyor system in the paint booth, ensuring they are properly positioned for efficient painting. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions from the lead hanger are key.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Hang raw parts onto the paint line conveyor system according to designated locations and orientations

• Inspect parts for defects or imperfections before hanging

• Follow placement guidelines provided by the lead hanger or work instructions

• Maintain a consistent flow of parts through the paint line

• Remove painted parts from the conveyor belt once painting is complete

• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail to identify defects on parts

• Ability to coordinate with other workers on the line

• Basic understanding of production line operations

• Previous manufacturing experience helpful but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Load and unload a variety of parts in all shapes and sizes, from above shoulders to 12” from the floor, repeatedly throughout the shift

• Lift and maneuver heavy welded lockers and other parts

• Stand and walk for prolonged periods
