Spread Production Team MemberSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (Schedule may vary based on business needs)Compensation: Weekly wage is based on achieving perfect attendance.
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Spread Production Team Member to join our growing team. This role is responsible for producing our signature cheese spreads while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in creating excellent products.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment while following all GMPs.
Adhere to the Master Sanitation Schedule and accurately document completion.
Collaborate with team members to ensure strict compliance with food and workplace safety standards.
Perform quality checks, including:
Ensuring products are wholesome (undamaged packaging, legible labels, correct cases, etc.).
Conducting scale/weight checks.
Reporting any food safety concerns to management.
Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment such as lifts, fillers, labelers, and scales.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production, including equipment malfunctions.
Efficiently stack and organize cases on pallets in proper formation.
Provide scheduling flexibility based on production demands.
Experience in food production or general knowledge of food preparation.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions with accuracy.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating ingredients.
Culinary training or certification is a plus.
A genuine passion for cheese and food production.
Ability to work 8-hour shifts.
Wear PPE as required (hair/beard nets, gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses, etc.).
Stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
Perform repetitive motions: pinch/grip/grasp, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and bending.
Lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
Push/pull loads of 75+ lbs occasionally.
Work in cold conditions (35–50°F).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Manufacturing: 1 year
Food production: 1 year
Assembly: 1 year
English and Spanish candidates preferred.
