Our Pickering client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

  • Process and record GST/HST tax filing
  • Manage financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Generate and manage invoices for clients
  • Manage bill payments, including reviewing bills for accuracy, preparing payment schedules, and executing online payments
  • Maintain and setup new accounts in database
  • Complete general office duties (answer phones and emails)
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of Accounting experience
  • Experience using QuickBooks (Online)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to handle a variety of high-pressure situations and work independently

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience using Sage (asset)

 Compensation and Hours:

  • 3 days per week: 11:00am to 4:00pm
  • Pay Rate: $27-30 per hour
