Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Schedule | Weekends Required
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a dependable Dock Worker in Clarksburg, WV for a local client. This is a great opportunity for hardworking individuals interested in warehouse work, loading and unloading, shipping and receiving, material handling, or general labor.
The Dock Worker will help keep daily warehouse and dock operations running efficiently by loading and unloading trucks, sorting shipments, staging materials, and maintaining an organized work area.
Previous warehouse or dock experience is a plus, but experience is not required.
Dock Worker Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Sort, stage, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move products and materials throughout the dock and warehouse.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
- Prepare and organize freight for movement or shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized loading dock.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
- Work with team members to keep freight and materials moving efficiently.
- Assist with additional warehouse, material handling, and general labor duties as needed.
Dock Worker Qualifications
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physically active work throughout the shift.
- Previous warehouse, dock, shipping and receiving, freight, or material handling experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to safety and organization.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional warehouse responsibilities.
Schedule & Pay
- $14.00 per hour
- 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Rotating work schedule
- Weekend availability is required
- Employees will receive two consecutive days off
