PAY RATE: $21.00

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Sweep, dust and mop. 
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness. 
• Shrink Wrap products, assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.

Skills & Experience:

• 1-2 years of previous warehouse order picking experience.
• Need most experience on the reach truck and Cherry (order) Picker; since they are  used  80% of the time…with 10% on each of the other equipment. 
• Comfortable with all facets of warehouse work.
• At least 1 year of experience on the following equipment:  Cherry (order) Picker, Reach Truck, Sit down Fork Lift and Stand on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ).

 

Education:

• High School or GED

 

Equipment Used:

• Cherry Picker, Sit down Forklift, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet jack.
• Reach Truck is preferred but forklift is required and a must.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push and move up to 50lbs

 

Qualities Preferred:

• Experience with Unloading trucks and Order Picking.
• Mandatory OT as needed to complete the days orders.
