Mechanical Assembly

Located in Saint Petersburg, FL

Salary: $20-$25/hr DOE

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Dress Code: Long pants, close toed shoes, t-shirt, no jewelry, nothing offensive, no holes,

rips, or tears

Responsibilities:

Align, fit and adjust parts to meet requirements of machine specifications according to engineering drawings.

•         Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications to troubleshooting malfunctions.

•         Tune and Test assembled machinery components.

•         Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.

•         Using hand tools and electronic tooling.

•         Assembly of mechanical parts.

•         Performs assembly operations that require adjusting and aligning of components.

•         Ability to work from drawings and/or specifications.

•         Adheres to standard shop practices and safety protocols.

•         Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

•         Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

•         Ability to work well in a team environment.

•         Must be experienced with hand and power tools.

•         Strong attention to detail.

•         Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma

 Experience: 1 year experience

Language Skills: Ability to understand, speak, and read English clearly.
