A manufacturing company specializing in high-performance exhaust products is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting functions, maintain financial accuracy, and ensure compliance with local and government regulations. This hands-on role works closely with leadership and production teams to support financial operations and reporting. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Accounting Manager Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting department, including A/P, A/R, and invoicing
• Oversee financial reporting processes within the ERP system, including cost roll-ups, variance analysis, and scrap reporting
• Ensure timely compliance with city, county, and government reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external CPA for monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
• Support production reporting and assist with financial analysis
• Utilize Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables) to analyze financial data
• Monitor company insurance policies and ensure adequate coverage
• Work independently and demonstrate strong self-starter abilities
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and adapting to tough or changing conditions

 

Accounting Manager Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost analysis, and regulatory compliance
• Strong experience with an ERP system
• Proven experience managing an accounting department in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Must have previous Accounting Manager experience
• Must provide three professional references
