Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Travel Agency Call Center Representative to assist clients with planning trips, providing accurate travel quotes, and answering questions about destinations, itineraries, and bookings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about travel.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Answer inbound customer calls, emails, and chats regarding travel planning and bookings

  • Plan and customize travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and transportation

  • Provide accurate and competitive travel quotes based on client preferences and budgets

  • Explain travel options, policies, and restrictions clearly and professionally

  • Make reservations and process changes, cancellations, and rebookings

  • Respond to customer questions and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner

  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records in booking and CRM systems

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless travel experiences

  • Stay informed on travel destinations, promotions, and industry updates

  • Meet call center performance and customer service goals

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Travel, tourism, or hospitality coursework preferred

Skills & Experience

  • Previous call center, customer service, or travel industry experience preferred

  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills

  • Ability to multitask while navigating multiple systems during calls

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell travel options when appropriate

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment

  • Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills

  • Proficiency with computers and booking systems; experience with travel platforms a plus

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
