Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations supporting our international manufacturing and logistics activities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective coordination across global operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and experience working in complex, multi-entity environments.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and account reconciliations

  • Oversee financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable international accounting standards

  • Coordinate accounting activities across manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and international subsidiaries

  • Review and analyze inventory, cost accounting, and logistics-related expenses

  • Ensure accurate accounting for intercompany transactions, foreign currency activity, and consolidations

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing and logistics operations

  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to improve financial visibility and controls

  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies across global entities

  • Manage external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and coordination with auditors

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulatory requirements

  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff

  • Support ERP systems, process improvements, and special projects as needed

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • CPA or CMA preferred

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing and/or logistics

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and supply chain accounting

  • Experience supporting international operations, including consolidations and intercompany accounting

  • Familiarity with foreign currency transactions and global tax concepts

  • Proven leadership and team management experience

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with global ERP platforms preferred
