Pay Rate: $22.00-25.00p/hr + $3.00 p/hr shift premium

Schedule/Shift: Friday - Sunday (6am-6pm) *Paid for 40hr*

Brief Job Description: Candidates will be operating Tube Lasers, Fiber, CO2 & Sheet lasers. Will be performing set-ups of lasers as well as the general maintenance of the equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders prior to starting a task to ensure conformance to customer requests. Will loading raw materials into the laser machine and secure them properly, then using tube laser cutting machines to accurately cut metal tubes and profiles according to technical specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to ensure high-quality production and efficiency. Once completed individuals will need to inspect finished cuts for accuracy, quality, and surface finish. Record production data and report any discrepancies or equipment issues. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.

 

Qualifiers: Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and machine programming. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven experience operating tube laser cutting machines or similar CNC machinery. Good understanding of safety procedures in manufacturing environments. Strong attention to detail and precision. Good attendance & communication.
